Editorial review policy
These are the rules we hold ourselves to when we review and compare betting products. They exist so you can trust that a score means what it says.
Independence first
Our reviews are written independently of the operators. A commercial or affiliate relationship does not earn a brand a place on the list, a higher score, or a kinder write-up. If that ever came into tension, the reader comes first.
What we assess
Every product is reviewed against the same areas so the comparison is fair:
- Market coverage — depth across football, racing and the popular UK sports.
- Odds presentation — clarity of prices, format options and coupon readability.
- Mobile usability — apps and mobile site for real, quick betting tasks.
- Bet builder and accumulators — same-game builders, multiples and how terms are shown.
- Payments — the methods available and how clearly the rules are set out.
- Terms transparency — how easy the key conditions are to find before you commit.
- Responsible gambling — the tools offered and how visible support is.
How scores are formed
Each score out of ten is an editorial judgement that weighs those areas together. Scores differ across the list because the sites differ. We do not publish exact review counts or invented sample sizes, and a score is never presented as official or guaranteed.
What we will not do
- We will not guarantee winnings, profits, odds value, payouts or outcomes.
- We will not invent customer testimonials, people, photos or personal stories.
- We will not present betting as income, investment or a reliable return.
- We will not make licensing claims we have not checked against official sources.
- We will not promote routes that work around UK consumer protections.
Funding and transparency
We are funded by affiliate commission and we say so openly. Read the detail on our Affiliate Disclosure page. Independence of the editorial judgement is the line we don't cross.
